Health is an important ingredient in a productive and efficient workplace and BMC is committed to the highest standards of health, safety and environmental awareness. BMC promotes sound health, safety and environmental practices and complies with all statutory regulations.
The nature of BMC project engagement is wide and varied involving a variety of tasks. All ‘out of office’ work requires the completion of a simple one page ‘Pre Start Hazard/Risk Assessment’ document.
Where specific on-site roles/responsibilities are identified (Principal/contractor or sub-contractor) a Site Specific H & S Plan is written by the BMC Manager of the project.
Where BMC is not in control of the site the Principal provides a site H & S Plan and induction process for BMC staff.
At all times BMC Health and Safety Plans comply with the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and are prepared within the NZ OSH Standards AS/NZS 4801:2001 and AS/NZS 4804:2001.
